I’m starting a blog and quitting Facebook. At least I think so.
So far I’m not entirely sure what I will be posting about, but with the amount of stuff that keeps popping up in my head, there should be ample amounts of source material. All I can say is that it will be varied.
I keep telling myself to stop contemplating my second scentance while writing the first; “let the thoughts come to you, you are your own editor in chief in this delightful 2.0 era of the web. Do what others do and aid in the serverfarm-fill-up-festival of mind- and pointless ramble throughout the electronic democracy that is the Internet”. The fact is that I have thought about getting a blog for way too long, I just didn’t want to follower. There it is - I’ve said it.
If you’ve kept the faith and read this far i’d better start being serious about what this blog is for. My background is pretty diverse and so is my daily life. therefore I suppose the topics covered here will be a full on waldorf. I’m a guy who makes websites for a living and takes photos in his spare time. I also enjoy a bit of scuba diving every now and then, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t slightly more than average interested in technology and gadgets, most specifically the stuff that Apple makes. With that comes the occasional anti-Microsoft rant, but that also has a lot to do with the fact that they make the shittiest web browser there is, which also happens to be the one most people use, which in turn makes the few bad days I have professionally. However, for the most part I stay pretty happy and positive without even making an effort. How’s that for a net-dating profile!
Speaking of net-dating profiles, this isn’t one. Even though my girlfriend specifically wished I wouldn’t mentioned her, or our four month old son for that matter, I feel that it’s only fair that I mention the two things in my life that I’m most proud of. Hence here’s to you, Elva and Aron!
And to you, my current reader: Thanks for stopping by, hope you will repeat the experience on a later time!
