I’m a 26 year old and I work as an interactive designer at Allegro, a medium sized ad- and design agency based in my hometown Sandefjord. I live together with my icelandic lady of choice Elva and my son Aron.
After my first years of working as a desiger in various agencies I started up one of my own together with a friend. The name of that small, but ethusiastic studio was Okular. We were based in Oslo for six years before Allegro bought the whole damn thing (the both of us and a couple of macs) and we moved to Sandefjord.
My professional passion has always been Flash as a tool for creating media-rich, database-driven, complelling websites and applications. My experience with that dates back almost ten years, since version 3, when there wasn’t much programming to be done with it. I love advertising, branding, design and usability that illuminates the heart, soul and purpose of whatever it seeks to communicate. That’s the genereal idea, but there are numerous examples of work that fails miserably at exactly that - lot’s of them are my own.
In my career so far I’ve had the oportunity to try on almost every branch of the communication profession; photography, web development, print design, identity design 3D-modelling, animation, project management, repro, communication strategies, text, journalism, consultancy, video editing, film directing, lighting, DVD-authoring, sound design and mastering, programming, illustration and lots, lots more.
Personally I’m enthusiastic about photography, scuba diving, music, movies and TV-series, politics and technology. And of course good friends and good times!
